I am a writer, planner, environmentalist, climber, cook, critical thinker and perpetual learner. Though I’ve called many places home, I’m a proud Chicago native currently living in Bucktown. I’ve filled a lot of different roles in a lot of different places:
A city planner in a North Dakota boomtown.
A goat dairy farmer in Homer, Alaska.
A project manager for a Uganda-based nonprofit.
A writer and social media manager on the interweb.
A university student in New Zealand.
A natural resource intern on Colorado's front range.
A beekeeper in rural Jamaica.
A vineyard hand in the South of France.
Currently, I’m pursuing an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
I’m also a freelance writer, photographer (mostly food and small weddings) and recipe developer. I work most often in food, health, wellness and sustainability, and am always interested in new opportunities to exercise my passions.
