I am a writer, photographer and recipe developer, as well as a cook, climber, critical thinker and perpetual learner. Though I’ve called many places home, I’m a proud Chicago native currently living in Bucktown. I’ve filled a lot of different roles in a lot of different places:

A city planner in a North Dakota boomtown.
A goat dairy farmer in Homer, Alaska.
A project manager for a Uganda-based nonprofit.
A writer and social media manager on the interweb.
A university student in New Zealand.
A natural resource intern on Colorado's front range.
A beekeeper in rural Jamaica.
A vineyard hand in the South of France.

Currently, I’m pursuing an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

I’m offer freelance services in writing, photography (food, small weddings and portrait) and recipe development. I work most often in food, health, wellness and sustainability, and am always interested in opportunities to exercise my passions.
